Each paid player may only use the below dollar amounts, for either the Sunday Mini or the Thursday Mini.

I came by later to see if it actually happened ... only found Fleming and three others playing a casual round. Was glad it was called as the bottom literally dropped out at abt 6:00pm

Same thing happenend on my card to Kyle Lukens on hole # 11. I called it out, however Seawright and Craig called it in. I called it out because his disc crossed the defined OB line. No biggie though!

At last Sunday's mini, an OB issue came up. After reviewing the rules, I share this as a helpful aide in similar future situations.
On Ballard's hole 11, my drive landed on the very edge of the walking path, which is "Out of Bounds." A small portion of the disc was laying on top of dead grass that had grown over the blacktop path.
I've always been told that if any portion of the disc is touching grass and not "completely" surrounded by pavement, the disc is considered inbounds. The two fellows on my card had heard the same thing and made the call that the disc was "inbounds, no penalty" since it was touching grass. I took one meter relief from the edge of the track, per the rules, for my second throw.
I have since learned the call was incorrect. A disc surrounded by pavement is out of bounds, regardless of the presence of other materials between the disc and the pavement - i.e. leaves, grass, limbs.
The correct procedure is to determine (by removing lose materials between the disc and the surface, if necessary) if the disc is completely surrounded (underneath) by the out of bounds line (pavement). If it is, the disc is considered out of bounds. If it is not, the disc is considered in-bounds and one meter relief is granted.
I hope this is helpful to players in the TDGA. Many times, we play the rules loosely based on what someone else tells us. Here's a link from PDGA on the very issue, as presented by our very own Clayton Nash.
By the way, the incorrect determination did not affect the final outcome of the mini. Incurring the one-stroke penalty would have placed me in the same finishing position. - Randy Sharp

This is all that I got from the mini today. I did not "run" this, but did take names, tags, and money. Keith T. was there at the start to kick it off for everyone. He went to play Ultimate.
I don't have divisions as I didn't do the list. I just took it all when over. I'll get the money and list to Keith T. tomorrow.
Here is the result of a cold and sleeting mini. This mini started out cloudy with no rain. That quickly gave way to very light sleet. Nothing too bad until the last 2 holes. That is when the sleet parted and let the rains fall.

I am not sure I will be playing the mini tomorrow. I have a board meeting for my ministry at 3:00. I will likely come out there for the start of the mini at least. Grayson, Joey said he will not be there, will you be there tomorrow?
